BREAKING NEWS
What an honor it is to serve as the 22nd Post Commander of Onion Creek Post 326. The legacy of Post 326 is rich in time honored service, traditions, and values beginning with its founder, Commander Roy C. Dalton (1985-87 and 2006-2007). Our financial strength and growth in our membership base is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of all volunteers who have served. We have just completed a very successful year in terms of new membership growth and increased program services. Congratulations Past Commander, Don Jones (2007-2009) for a job well done.
Our new year is full of challenges and opportunities. Achieving our growth in membership and financial security will take a sustained commitment from all members and volunteers. It will be these efforts and focus which will take us to the cusp of a new decade in 2020. Also, we are seeing the initial return of thousands of young military service men and women from locations around the world. These young veterans have helped preserve and protect our freedom, spread democracy around the world, and have kept America safe from threats at home and abroad. Meeting their needs and serving our maturing senior veterans will require the support, patience, and commitment from all of our members. Within the coming weeks, the Post 326 Executive Committee will be considering a wide range of new initiatives and opportunities supporting the Primary Goals-2009/2010. Each of these were developed and presented at the last General Membership meeting held on August 5, 2009.
