Post 326 Received 4th Consecutive Hall of Fame Award
for Membership Year 2006-2007

Onion Creek American Legion Post 326 serves the southern portion of Austin and Travis County plus the cities of Buda and Kyle and the northern portion of Hays County, Texas. It is the premier Post in the 10th District, Third Division, and Department of Texas. Its current membership totals approximately 225 veterans, most of whom are from Korean and/or Vietnam era conflicts.

General Membership meetings are held six times each year: February, April, June, August, October, and December, usually on the first Wednesday of those months from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Onion Creek Club. These are social dinner meetings to which spouses and guests are welcomed, and most meetings feature a guest speaker. Attendance usually numbers between 100 to 150 people. The agenda and other information of interest is published in the "Onion Creek Legionnaire" newsletter that is distributed in advance of each meeting.

Onion Creek Post 326 is always interested in attracting new members who are willing to participate in programs that help support our military veterans, deserving high school and college students and the local community. We have also been successful in providing support to disabled military personnel and their families. And with your help, Post 326 will continue to be a model Post for the honor of The American Legion.

Annual membership dues cover national, departmental, and Post operating costs. Currently annual dues are $35.00 and are payable no later than December 31st of each year. Members are encouraged to avail themselves of the "Paid Up For Life (PUFL)" membership in the American Legion in order to avoid potential future dues increases. This is both convenient (no annual dues reminders) and economical over the long term.
